Hat trick for Tottenham legend Robbie Keane this evening, he has scored at least 1 international goal for the last 16 seasons. That is impressive

Lloris out today. Hope that groin problem is nothing serious and this is purely precautionary

Germans beaten 2-0 by Poland. Great. We face a wounded Germany on Tuesday, could be a repeat of the 6-1 coming up.

Huge game. Anything out of that and we are starting to look good for qualification. I can't see the Germans losing any other games. Our games with Poland will be the big ones. Ten men behind the ball on Tuesday night please.

Thought Hoolahan was impressive last night. When he went off we went completely flat. I know the opposition were utter shit but you can only beat what's in front of you. We should have had about 10 goals though.

I do like a bit of Glyfi, he's a confidence player and you can tell he's confident playing for Swansea which is translating to his national team, shame it couldn't work with us.

To be fair even when he was playing for us his performances for the national team were pretty good iirc. He got a few quality goals in their decent WC qualifying run.

I guess it has a lot to do with him being the main man there and having the team built around him, as far as I know he's the best current Icelandic player by some distance?

@Bus-Conductor You watching this?

I think you'd like Iceland, they've lined up with 2 banks of four and are playing 4-4-2 but they're pressing when needs be and they're breaking with pace when the Dutch lose the ball.

They have a player called Bjarnason who is very bright and makes some good decisions on and off the ball.

Ha... Netherlands losing 2-0.
Could you imagine it, Netherlands and Germany not qualifying for Euro 2016?!

Not gonna happen, the Germans at least will turn it around after the Poland result, but Netherlands, oh my.

LVG covered up a lot of their defensive deficiencies when he played that 3-5-2 in the world cup which game Vlaar and Bruno Martins-Indi a lot of protection, they're getting exposed now though.
