No need for that. We have a large and cosmopolitan squad and it would be quite easy to imagine a fringe player might slip under the radar and make an appearance at some point during the tournament if you didn't have your eye on the ball completely.

Not when it comes to current European teams/squads selection. And I don't know every team that did or didn't qualify in the Euros.

I'm in the USA. Not exactly having the Euros rammed down my throat over here. I was just frustrated at missing the Mordric game and wondered what else I was missing.

Hmm, really thats strange, given the fact that you feel you have license to comment on all things Modric, informing us how is the wrong player for spurs, he is crap etc etc. Now you admit to not even knowing about national european teams how can you possibly know anything about players like Modric who have come from those leagues????

I said he is IN MY OPINION probably no better than Malbs who is a great player we paid a lot less for.

I was questioning the lack of ability from our scouts to get us bargains before they command a 17 million price tag.

Rebrov was a good player we used the wrong way. And I think with our track record we could risk doing the same thing with Modric.

whatever mate. Had you ever even seen him play before the euros? Judging by what you were saying in that thread i posted you would have thought your were a seasoned expert in the croatian league.

Point is you dont know too much about our current squad if you think there were others playing in the euros, so i dont know how you can comment about what modric will or will not bring to the squad.
