Would probably put them joint 3rd favourites at this moment in time (maybe lower as they don’t have any strikers available for Europa games)
  1. Atletico Madrid
  2. Dortmund
  3. RB Leipzig / Arsenal
Where would you put Lazio?

I’d probably put them around the same level as Marseille, Lyon, Zenit & Bilbao.

Can be dangerous on their day but not consistent enough to be feared, plus I wouldn’t be surprised if they get knocked out by Dynamo Kiev with the 2nd leg being in Kiev

I think they'll win it. Just because its the kind of thing that will happen to us

No. Chelsea finishing 5th and winning the CL while Arsenal win the EL and Spurs getting knocked out of the CL while finishing 4th again is the kind of thing that happens to us.

Our biggest failure of the last decade (and there have been many) is to have not gone deep in the Europa. We always made such hard work of it. Even Middlesborough managed a final FFS! Utd made it look like a piece of piss and Arsenal will probably do the same.

It is a regret I agree. A couple of seasons where we were knocked out with a whimper. I do think United had such an easy route last season, unfortunately that doesn't go in the record books.

Arsenal will win the Europa. Teams will just cave in time and time again against them. However I don't think Chelsea are capable of winning the CL so the nightmare scenario is still unlikely to happen...

Depends if our league form takes a nosedive after last night, Poch will have to pick them up off the floor for Bournemouth.

Bloody hell...

So much for hoping for a little ray of sunshine after a horrible past 20hours.

Hopefully Milan can pull it back to 2-2 and win the 2nd leg 1-2.

Don't think there are other teams can stop Arsenal except Atletico Madrid. Let hope Atlei don't bottle it.....

Lyon equalize on the night and go ahead in the tie. Genesio clearly has prepared for this game by avoiding all CSKA video in existence and training all Lyon players in individual sessions.

Edit: And Akinfeev loses another European clean sheet in the process

Edit2: fuckfcukfuckfuckityfuck CSKA go ahead on the night and NOW lead in the tie on away goals.

Well, with all the selfishness and profligacy of Lyon's 1st half they now will be going home. CSKA scores a 3rd. Bollocks.

Traore on and Lyon snatch 1 back...It's on...at least for those of us that care.
