I just saw on that paddy power twitter that Atletico had conceded 4 goals at home all season, is that true?! That's crazy if so.

Yup, as I was saying when the draw came out they're stingy bastards who don't let in goals.

Even if Wenger does deserve to go out on a Europa league win, the Arsenal fans certainly don't deserve it.

Yeah, sorry. I don't see AM not scoring at home so I figured the scum would need a couple to be assured of avoiding penalties.
Yeah, that's true. But they showed what they can do with ten men. The second leg will see them with home advantage and an extra man. Arsenal could have and should have scored more after the red card. That's why a lot of scum fans feel they have blown their chance I think. If the scum don't score away then AM can win by a one goal margin, no?
If they don't score away atletico don't need to score at all.

Yeah, I agree. I was worried when they scored but now I'm much more confident that Atletico will get the job done.

If Poch can make us more ruthless and less generous, like Simone has with Atletico, then we will be one hell of a team.

The moaning and angst in here for the majority of this game was something special. Special being the operative word :D

How some of you can twist blatant in game incidents into something not in any way resembling what actually happened is both instructive and very worrying.

Spurs match thread lite except heat of the moment and passion aren't excuses. You're nutters. Proper, bona fide, certifiable nutcases.

Agreed but I think it's difficult due to our style, they don't play as high up the pitch as us and aren't as susceptible to counter attacks like we are.

Do you know why they have cooled their interest in him?
Supposedly he wants a move to Madrid and is willing to wait to see if they get De Gea, and Liverpool don’t think he’s worth the 60+ mil Roma value him at. I’m sure Roma’s performance the other day didn’t help any.

That goal really was a thing of beauty! From Koscielny kicking the ball into his own face, then the keeper's legs saving the ball but rebounding it into Griezmann's path, right through to Mustafi's glorious slip.

Griezmann seemed to do everything in his power not to score. Think three Arsenal players should get an assist for that goal.
