Er, thanks guys I really would be interested...but, well the kids are in school where we are now and the garden is coming along just how the wife likes it; you know how it is. But hey, keep in touch in case things it don't turn out where I am.

Would love this guy at WHL. Just love it. He's a gentleman. He's talented. He has a vision for playing the game that matches our history and crucially, given he's a young manager, he learns from his mistakes. I hope we go all out for him. Sorry Tim, you're good, you could be great, but you need 5 more years experience for my expectations to be met.

I'd like to keep it as nothing more than rumour and compliments. Levy, please go all out for FdB.

Take away the players who are there on loan and you will see that Everton would be below us in the table. Lukaku has made the difference with his goals just like he did at WBA. A fool and his money is easily parted and Levy is an expert at this.

You have to judge Martinez on what he achieved with the players he had at his disposal not whether they were on loan or not.
He got them playing and has done really well.
If Evertons squad is total shite next season but he keeps them up it can still mean he did a good job.
Cant polish a turd as they say.

I really cannot see Martinez breaking his contract at Everton. And seeing how patient that board are with their managers compared with Spurs, I doubt he will even consider Spurs even if they are willing to pay what Everton would want for him.

I've long been an admirer of Martinez. Thought he was good at Wigan and he's won a trophy in England, unlike most we've been linked with. Assuming Tim is leaving I'd rank the candidates: 1) LVG just for his track record but he might go elsewhere 2) FDB looks a good fit not sure he'll leave Ajax 3) Benitez, oddly disliked but has done well almost everywhere 4) Martinez and 5) Pochettino as I think he's been lucky to get so many good young players at Southampton. Maybe I'm crazy but I'm still a Martin Jol fan.
