Maximum 24 points left to secure, currently 23 points behind 4th placed Liverpool.
Mmmm.
Mmmm.
Anyone thinking that they wont challenge for 4th is nuts. They have always been tough to beat Barkley will not be a great loss and if they manage to sign Rooney and Sigurdson with their experience I expect them to take points off all the contenders including us
win some lose some, I can't be right all the timeFirst sentence still makes me laugh.

Absolutely. It's just the conviction of the first sentence that makes me laugh like it was obvious they'd be in the race for top 4.
And meTo be fair. I thought they were in with a shout start of the season too.

Did they not learn from the os. So corrupt.
I never thought that but did think they'd done right by buying young. No problem with the view at all.
But "Anyone thinking that they wont challenge for 4th is nuts" is a very strong statement.
I think almost every single poster on this site has chatted some grade-A bollocks at times tbf...
Isnt that what they fid last summer?Everton's owner needs to be ruthless and ditch Fat Sam the day after the season ends
He then needs to get in a young manager for the 'long-term' and give him £80m to £100m to add to the squad
And most of all, he needs to give the new manager time (3 or 4 seasons) to shape things
Otherwise Everton will be a mid-table side for the foreseeable future

All these new owners think they can build a successful team in a season. It took us 15 years.
