Frustrates the hell out of me that Chelski have bought several highly respected players over the last few years and then loan them out as they are not deemed good enough for their first team. Smacks of trying to have a strangle hold on all the available talent around. Fair Play………pure B.S. more likely.
Would love for Lukaku to come to Spurs but quite frankly believe that our relationship with the Russian mafia's mob is so deteriorated there is no chance in hell they would sell him to us.

And us to them.

Lukaku's good but there are other strikers out there. If all fails we still has three good options, furthermore we need to strengthen other positions first ie CB LB winger-striker

Lukaku in a player-plus-cash with Ade would be great... Jose needs a replacement for Eto'o and Ade might just be the ticket!

IMO Lukaku would be a brilliant signing. Hard working , skilful , hungry, and gets plenty of goals. He'd be brilliant for us. If Chels really want Paulinho , and he's not fully committed?, then maybe straight swap? Only a thought .

Would like to keep Paulinho ideally but as you say, if not fully committed then maybe worth a look. Gotta wait to see how he does in WC though - if he has a blinder then push his £££ up ;-)
Rather have both of them though!

Not one's for sale who have combined to net thirty six goals for two different PL teams over the past two seasons.

We may need a CB and FB but we have never had a better opportunity to get a proven PL goalscorer than now.

There is no opportunity, chelsea would never sell to us, esp when they would have many other clubs to sell to. He could also go to a club with champs league footie, so we may not even be high on his list

So last season we suffered when our one striker who got goals, Ade wasn't performing. So people want to sell Ade and replace him with 1 striker.

We need to add to Ade. Not put ourselves in the same position again.

I think its more likely lukaka's value goes up more than Paulinho's at this world cup.... we would be out of the running in that scenario.

That would be a dream and kill three birds with one stone...get rid of Ade, replace him with an upgrade and piss off Everton all at the same time.

Agree. Chelsea have been buying players who've shown promise just so no one else has them and ruined their careers in the process, for years.
They're linked with Fabregas. He's not a Mourinho, Chelski type player but they just dont want any other bugger to get him.
I really hope we play to suit Soldado as he IS a proven goal machine in the right set up.
The other thing is if we do sell him I'd bet my left nut he'll score 20+ wherever he ends up.
Just our bloody luck.

Paulinho is going to come good I'm sure of it. If we let him go and then someone else will get that benefit. I think he said recently he wants to stay. Just the rest of the team we need to sort out.
