Match: ____ English Premier League (EPL) - Match Day 18

When: ____ Sunday, December 23rd 2018

Where: _____ Goodison Park,

Kick Off: _____ 4:00pm

Referee: _____ Paul Tierney

Team Form ______ Everton WLDDL ______ Spurs WWDWW _____ (All competitions)

Everton are winless in their last 11 EPL matches against us (D5 L6). Their last league victory over us came back in December 21012 at Goodison Park (2-1). We have won more games against Everton (25) than we have versus any other team in the EPL.

They are winless in their last 22 games against the "big six" opposition (D6 L16) since beating Man City 4-0 in January 2017. However they are unbeaten in their last 6 home EPL ggames winning 4 and drawing 2.

We have not drawn any of our 17 league games this season, only Bolton in 2011-12 (18) have a longer wait without a draw from the start of an EPL campaign. We have won 8 of our 10 away EPL games this season, already more than we have won in 20 of our 26 completed season in the competition.

This will be our just our 3rd Sunday EPL game this season and we have lost are previous two so far, against Watford and Arsenal.

Everton's Richarlson has scored four goals in his last 4 EPL home games. Kane has scored a brace in each of his last 3 EPL games against Everton - only Michael Owen vs Newcastle has netted two or more goals in 4 consecutive appearances vs a single team in the competition.

Poch has lost just 1 of his 11 EPL encounters with Everton (W6 D4 L1), and is unbeaten in each of the last 9 (W6 D3).

Like all our matches this is winnable but we got to be on it. No fafffing about.
.
That gap needs to be reeled in again.
.
Bit of breathing space watching the others in action tomorrow.
.
Everton are no mugs on their day start fast and get the job done. Cheers @Bulletspur

Another important game. If we want to stay in the title race then we need maximum points up until the City v Liverpool game so it keeps the pressure on both of them for that game. Then at least one of them will come back closer to us.

Everton are improved, and most definitely carry an attacking threat.

But they'll come out and attack, and if we navigate the first 20 minutes or so I think we'll have too much for them.

But Goodsion is a tough ground because they scream for everything, so keeping them hush would certainly increase our chances.

Also, they're not great defensively and I think this will be quite open.

I'm going 3-2 Spurs. Kane brace and Son.

Always tough at Goodison. I’d like a Leicester away type of performance; sensible and effective please

Tough game. Everton are certainly a team that can hold their ground but having said that watford had their number and outplayed them.
As usual it will boil down to if we take our chances and make the most of openings.

Yeah there fans are annoying. Everything’s an injustice up there. Hope we get a strong referee performance. Everton are more than capable of taking points off the teams in and around us at Goodison so it is a very important game for us.

Even though we've had success against them I effing HATE playing them there. Their fans are mongs who bray violently every time we're awarded a throw in. They hate us (which is weird since we have zero animosity towards them; in fact most of us actually don't mind them), and you can feel their anger throughout the match. In a way it's kind of cool-- proper English league tie and all that-- but I'm always wary when we go there. Oh and still have PTSD from Defoe's miss lol.

Wasn't the last time we lost at their ground when they scored two in the added time to make it 2-1?

Even bigger motivation now from todays results! Go to goodison and WIN! City v pool in a weeks time and we can continue to creep up. If city beat pool then its in our hands despite needing to go to the etihad and pool.

Lets make things intersting......and Levy get that new stadium open asap.

Also Liverpool v Arsenal next week, either close on Liverpool, extend above Arsenal or both if they draw.

I’m not entirely sure we have a best team now a days, just the one that’s least injured!

I would say we have 6/7 nail on in a best team the other 4/5 are close calls and are easily roatated with similar standard players
