Had to miss the game as I’I’m stuck on a beach in Waikiki and couldn’t find anyone showing the game at 6am. Enjoyed reading the match thread and delighted by the result. Merry Christmas to all you SC’ers.

Wembley aint home mate.
Away is playing the opposition at their ground, playing our home fixtures at Wembley is an away game for the opposition, so lets leave it at 14 games won away and at neutral grounds

kinda felt bad for Everton in the first half with the disallowed goal and Pickford's ineptitude but they were woeful on the day.

Moronic comment. Yeah, you can have an opinion and that's mine.

sure thing dude. my opinion is that lamela is a good dog fighter but not a top level player. a good to have but not someone i would rely on to win games for me. hes a good rotational player, just like how dembele is.

Yes he does. He's just having a poor game though. Seems a bit sloppy/wasteful today, but he's still quality and a great asset for our team.

hes great at winning possessions, holding out wins for us, like dembele. but he will never be a top level player because his attacking awareness is terrible. takes too many touches for a dribbler of his level. if he was hazard level he could, but at his level he should learn to move the ball quicker and dribble less. his shooting technique is also trash if he wants to be a top tier am, shoots far too much straight at the keeper

6 goals away at Everton. They are not newly promoted, they are not at the bottom of the table. They have some good players. That was the response I was dreaming about after yesterday when City lost. This was a statement.

Shame for those two goals conceded. We should defend better in both ocasions. But our overall performance was fantastic.

That's not what you wrote though, was it? He's won us a number of games this year, and even though his play was fitful today he had an assist.

What a win. Glad to see we didn't let in anymore after Gylfi scored, and thankfully Everton played right into our hands by setting out to attack.
