to be fair though in the other 2 seasons he has been here, the stats show chadli is shit as well
Or they show he's provided just as much as Townsend in that period of time

“Growing up a Spurs fans and being at the club since the age of eight, I obviously planned to spend most of my career at Spurs," Townsend is quoted as saying by the Sun.
“So of course it was disappointing. I would have liked a better exit.
“But now I just have to move forward and try to build a career here.”
I think he is a talented boy. I think he has had a rough ride by some supporters compared to some. Like most wingers he is not and probably never will be consistent but he has enough to his game to provide goals and score a few. Its a shame its not going to be at Tottenham and I think he will do pretty well at Newcastle they like a winger and though he might not be absolutely top class I think he puts a decent shift in.
He played on both yesterday. Switched with sissoko.Townsend on the left is far more of a threat than on the right; I hope he does well at Newcastle and that probably starts by playing on the correct wing.

He did a good job on both flanks tbf, but yeah, very good work from the left. His corners were great as well.Admittedly I haven't seen him play for Newcastle but judging from what their fans have said he played on the right against Everton and they were happy with the threat he offered from the left yesterday.
I thought this an apt time to review Andros' greatest Spurs performance...
I wish we'd just played him on the left...
