We should buy Rochdale a new pitch on the sly,not even joking. Could save us a season ending injury.

Shame as I was looking foreword to millwall away. All the violence bravado aside, it would be a proper derby devoid of any tourists in an old school ground. Rochdale could be decent but millwall would of been far superior. Ah well, suppose we just need to go on and win it now.

I like seeing new faces, getting Millwall back to back would have been too much.

Pot. Kettle. Black, with a nice bit of contradiction thrown in

Millwall manager Neil Harris has called Rochdale fans who invaded the pitch after tonight's FA Cup tie "a disgrace".

Around 100 home fans ran onto the pitch after a 1-0 win for the League One relegation strugglers booked a fifth round tie with either Newport or Tottenham.

They goaded Harris and his players and then made for the 351 Millwall fans, who thankfully remained in their seats.

"I thought the Rochdale fans were a disgrace at the end," said Harris.

"As Millwall manager, I am not going to complain about fan bases.
But the way it was managed at the end, the way our fans were goaded, wasn't quite right.

"My players were treated very badly and me, and the staff, were abused."

I’m almost certain that times article is confused. I’m pretty sure we tried to get the 69m reduced to 68m. And that’s what was denied. We would never have tried to get it to WHL size as the rule has been clear for 2 yrs. if Architecture allows pitch has to be 105x68m . To say we tried to get 100x67m in Wembley is far fetched imo.

We get through tonights game I wonder how many of our lot will fancy that excuse of a pitch that Rochdale have. Looks like it could cause injury.

Pretty sure you can appeal for game to be moved if stadium is not fit for purpose. They’d be a strong argument that pitch is dangerous. Would the FA want their star England players playing on that? Defo worth a go imo? Doubt Rochdale would object too much.

The FA Cup doesn't have stricter pitch criteria than the Football League, so if no League One games have been demanded moved there's no way we get special treatment.
