We're just gotta do what we normally keep doing and improve players then in that case, no guarantees that this new player you want to bring in hits the ground running either...

Fair point. I’m not saying we should definitely go out a sign a right back but if we are looking to strengthen in the summer I would say the full back areas are the weakest going by what I’ve seen this season

They will naturally improve, especially Aurier, a pre season for him under Poch and you'll notice the difference.
