Oh just got a sudden chill down my spine at the realisation that I've never seen spurs in a fa cup final.
Was pretty much a baby in 91

Anyway no trophies for Jose, quarter billion spend incoming

Luckily for me I was there in 91 at 15 years old. Good job because I’m not too confident of seeing one again :D.

Refreshing the FA Cup twitter account waiting for them to take the piss out of Jones, Smalling, Young etc

Do you think Chelsea would rather finish 3rd and go out in the semis of this or win this and finish 5th?

If you ask them now the latter.
Ask them again next season when they are flying to Kazakhstan for a Thursday night Europa league game and their tune would change I think.

Bottle the league then bottle the fa cup final.

Don't think mourinio knows how to win things anymore.

A billion pounds worth of the world's finest footballers on the pitch, and the most deeply tedious FA Cup final I can remember.

Thanks to a pair of anti-football managers who are scared of their players being in possession of the ball and taking risks.

Fans or club?

They would want this situation. They've proven before than not being in the cl doesn't hold them back.

Congrats Chelsea for qualifying for the Europa league again. Does 2 spots in the Europa league equal to a champions league spot??? Hell no! :ROFLMAO:

So now even if they sack conte... who ever is coming in will find it really tough to repeat what he has done.

I honestly think both would choose 3rd but for different reasons.

For us, a trophy is very important but champions league was simply a must for us going into new stadium + for attracting players when we don’t pay as much as others.

And then for Chelsea, they win trophies regularly anyway so one FA Cup isn’t gonna change their lives but champions league means another season they can’t win it + it’s damaging for their brand and probs means they’re gonna have to spend more money to get players

The fans will take FA Cup Id have thought.
Club want the money.
Arsenal finish outside top 4, win fa cup
Chelski finish outside top 4, win fa cup

If we finish outside the top 4 we’d probably be out of it at the 1st stage. Fucking annoying. Why can’t we win a trophy?!?!?!?
Because their managers know winning trophys is important, thats their philosophy.
Our manager keeps telling everyone it doesnt matter and proves it with team selections.
Edit. Also them spending hundreds of millions on their squads compared to us helps quite a bit.

Can hear all the plastic Chelsea fans outside and in the pub across the road.
What with that and the shitty royal wedding everywhere, only Liverpool getting hammered can rescue the day.

Interviewer to Cahill: “Do you want Conte to stay?”
