Winning the FA Cup is nice but of course they'd rather have finished in the top 4. Playing in the Europa League means less money, less visibility, and a tougher time recruiting players. Of course they'll spin it the other way but everybody knows they're full of shit.

How annoying. Arsenal last year, Chelsea this.

I really hope we can figure out this inability to pass either our rivals at key moments, or tackle big cup games next year. Let's not forget we went out to West Ham at Wembley in the League Cup too this year.

The League Cup & FA Cup are being picked up by the top teams even more consistently so every year we're losing ground in the trophy stakes.

The fans will have long forgotten the FA Cup when they take the pitch for that first Thursday night match in September... That moment will sting.
Really? Our fans still talk about finals in the 80s & 90s. It's really bizarre that our fans seem to dismiss the buzz of winning a trophy. I can only look on with envy when I see all of our rivals lifting trophies whilst we have nothing tangible to celebrate

They may not like playing Europa on Thursdays next season but in the future when they look back history will show 2016/17 League Winners
2017/18 FA Cup winners
2018/19 ?????
It wont say fk all about finished 5th.
Its another trophy, a big one.
Bastards.
Making history is what its all about.
We need to start treating these trophys with respect.
I cant for the life of me understand why Poch publicly belittles them. Seems daft.
Even if he thinks it doesn't matter he shouldnt say it. Keep it to yourself and tell the world we want to win every trophy going.

Not this again...we didn't not win because of Poch comments, we lost because we were crap on the day and didn't manage the game properly.

If you think it helps or that it doesnt make any difference then good for you.
But imo I dont think it does any good and could be detrimental. That may be why, as you said yourself, we played crap.

LOL LOL! Not a shocker, but Mourinho is complaining about the way Chelsea played today. :ROFLMAO::LOL::banghead:

I'm curious to know what people will say and write. I can imagine if my team played the way Chelsea did, what people would be saying, so I'm quite curious. I gave everything I could and so did the players and it was hard to play against a team who played with nine defenders.

Karma.

It's incredible the number of people who remain unaware of a massive change to the laws of the sport they love (it was TWO YEARS ago). It's a yellow all day for Phil Jones and not a red. Everyone will criticize the ref even when it means sticking their foot in their own mouth.

Chelsea won by playing the new Man United way. Poor old Maureen beaten by a team playing his type of football. Some dreadful performances. I wonder how Man United feel these days about Sanchez ? Paying him so much they can’t drop him but he is playing so poorly he doesn’t deserve to start.
