Fair play to Newport. They gave us a hard time too but great to see them scrap their way through that.

Last year against us they had some help from the pitch and weather conditions. Today that wasn't the case, so even more impressive. They went out, had a go, yeah rode their luck at times but had enough of the game and snatched the win.

Seems like a lifetime ago getting on the 34 at the crooked billet to go up to meet my mate outside Underhill. Fond memories :)
35+ years or so since I used to meet up with me mates outside the Dog & Duck on Sunday mornings for a head count prior to away games when we played in the Corinthian Sunday League a couple lads no longer with us I'm afraid. Still the memories though.

Fond memories of both the Billet and Dog and Duck.

I didn’t see the game but if you turn up and don’t take a team seriously then you’ll get beat. I’m assuming that’s what happened to Leicester?

A little, some of the Leicester players didn't really turn up and they never had great control of the game but they still had plenty of chances that should have been taken. Amongst this though they allowed a plucky Newport team plenty of moments and a couple of the Newport players really troubled them. Add a pretty daft penalty to concede and they only have themselves to blame.

Had a little troll, ahem fact finding mission, over to foxestalk and quite a few calling for Puel to get the tin tac. That seems very harsh given that they have had a couple of stand out league results and are in a decent position in the league. Got to put that down to kneejerk.

Leicester fans really don't know what to think or expect any more, the title win completely messed with their heads in that regard. That's not saying they're deluded, they know very well that their squad in 999 times out of 1000 won't make top four or even top six. It's just become so much harder for them to define what counts as success now and what doesn't.

But I do get some of their complaints about Puel. This is the second year running they've sacked off both cups when they haven't been anywhere near relegation while at the same time being too inconsistent and plain not good enough to finish higher than 7th. What is the point of not even trying to be successful?

Had they not just beaten Chelsea and City (after which they went and lost to Cardiff, inconsistency at it's finest) Puel might well have been sacked today.

But on the flip side, they know what happened to Southampton who sacked Puel without a plan of what to do next.

Me too, Newport showed what they did last year was no fluke. Somethings bound to happen in the draw though, west ham, arsenal, chelsea, man city, liverpool, newport ,millwall. Too many teams still in it for us not to draw a grudge match.

Missed out Manure. Never mind, i'm sure they'll get a mention on the radio instead.

You know it’s a joke right? It’s an old TV advert for milk with Ian Rush and a kid.

Nooooooooo really? Gosh i must have missed that in the 80s when there was nothing to watch on tv. You'd have thought someone would have mentioned it at school, and work...

I'm off for a bath, and a flake, after the black magic man doused in denim has dropped in through the window with a bonus pack of ski. Goddamit its JRR Hartley, on the phone telling me he wants a book, but i'm sure its a wrong number. Oops i've trodden the shake n vac into the carpet, and tripped over the flippin bog roll dog.

If bunnies did satire, it'd probably be....

The team sheet for the Leicester game had Fuchs misspelled as Fucks.

Which ties in nicely with Puel giving zero Fuchs about the cup.

If this is the official line up I'd say Klopp isn't trying too hard..

Potentially pivotal moment for them. Lose again and the media will start to turn saying they’re running scared. Think regardless that’s true. If they manage to blow the league from here it’ll be a huge fuk up thatll take some getting over
