This keeps making me laugh :D

Next week they're away at Bruce Forsyth's Play Your Cards Right and then they've got Baz Lurhmann's Romeo + Juliet.

I have to admit I am not the perp who first used it.

One of the lads on here used the term first, can't remember who, give me a chuckle too because it's definitely become a 'tag' like "Alexander's ragtime band"

VAR worked in the world cup. Why dont they use that system. Clearly whatever they are using just creates farce.Just ask Spurs fans, who see VAR problems every year. ohhhhhhh its a spurs forum.... BONUS

It worked there though. He was offside and the on field decision was rightly changed.

This one where the teams is lining up for a k.o. restart and last week when the team was about to take a penalty bring the situation into a farce.

Sooner or later , it will be 1-1 in a cup final at the end of extra time. One team will score with the last kick of the match. The whistle will blow for full time.Fans will be jumping up and down having won the cup.It will then be ruled out, and they'll lose on penalties. The outrage will be furious and live long in those fans hearts.VAR has to go, until they get a faster or better system.

I'm starting to suspect Mark Lawrenson is the evolved form of Danny Murphy.

I still think it should be like tennis or cricket where there are limited challenges which can be made by the managers.

I accept it may lead to tactical challenges at the latter stages of games, but would stop them just reviewing everything.

In your scenario without VAR, one team will have lost to an incorrect decision. That's far worse.

I agree, but there'll be a lot of things the governing bodies will need to figure out and I don't trust them to. And people will still whinge.

The fact that Carlton Palmer won more England caps than Matt Le Tissier was criminal.

Especially when you consider Carlton Palmer will be considered by history to be better by virtue of 10 more caps...
