Ok so like a lot of Tottenham supporters Saturday will be my eighth visit to an FA Cup Semi FInal and obviously we are all hoping for a change of fortune from the previous 7:

1993 Arsenal (Wembley) Lost 0-1
1995 Everton (Elland Road) Lost 1-4 Klinsmann (p)

1999 Newcastle United (Old Trafford) Lost 0-2 (aet)

2001 Arsenal (Old Trafford) Lost 1-2 Doherty

2010 Portsmouth (Wembley) Lost 0-2 (aet)

2012 Chelsea (Wembley) Lost 1 - 5 Bale

2017 Chelsea (Wembley) Lost 2-4 Kane,Alli

What memories do others have of these games and which were the hardest to take and move on from

I’ll start off with 93' and 95’

Firstly the Scum at Wembley 2 years after beating them in the Gazza free kick semi
From memory a terrible game that Donkey Adams won late on with a header at the back post from a corner
Can still hear all the Arsenal supporters chanting Hee-Haw on the way out!

My worst memory of the semis by far was Everton 95' at Elland Road

Terrible journey to a shit ground which we had one stand (the main stand on the side) and Everton had the other 3 stands wtf!!

To cut a long story short we were absolutely shocking especially at the back due to Stuart Nethercott playing and after losing 1-4 that was the longest and quietest journey back from a game that I can remember

As far as I can see there is no such thing as your name being on the Cup it’s all about the day and the performance

We need to be up for this Saturday from minute one and let’s put this record to bed for once and for all

Agree worst was Elland Road. Portsmouth and Chelsea 5-1 not far behind.

Like you I’ve been to all of them, which was one of the reasons I’ve decided to sit this one out and watch on the telly. That and the ridiculous 2.5 hour window to buy my ticket in which I couldn’t easily manage.

Looking at your record I think I speak for all of us in asking you to sit this one out fella.

It’s not my fault, really!

I’ve worn different tops and underwear to each game and taken different routes to each game

I think it’s the players and managers personally

Could be wrong though....

So I’m going and your not. Could be extra time and pens then!!

Is there a replay or is it settled on the day?

I still cannot believe we lost that one in 2010 to Portsmouth.

I was there and it just didn’t make any sense. They were so shite.

It did of course then serve as a lightening rod to the players, as we went on to beat Arsenal, Chelsea and City to secure top 4. However it still annoys me that we didn’t turn up that day. I actually left before KP Boateng took the penalty, couldn’t bear seeing him score it.

Looking at some of those results it seems we do have the capacity to totally fold in these games, too. However, last season’s one was, in truth, a lot closer than the 4-2 shoreline.

Praying we can put this hoodoo to bed on Saturday. Too many years of disappointment!

Looking forward to the semi-final I was there last year and was confident of going through but it ended up as a bit of a disaster son playing left back etc, so buzzing for this one along with the fact we are doing a bit of corporate with meal and club Wembley.

Arsenal at Old Trafford. Nightmare journey back, took 4 hours just to get out of Manchester and got a phone call on the way to say a friend of mine had lost her battle with cancer. Longest road home.

Portsmouth one was a shocker, literally felt sick afterwards and it was the first time Spurs had made my son (8 at the time) cry lol
