Unfortunately not all of us will be lucky enough to get a ticket for the game. Is there any plan to go down to wembley and watch it in one of the pubs (sports bar, folly watkin, moore spice etc) ?

Won't they be asking for match tickets on the door like they do at every match? The guys on the door of the Watkins Folly always recognise me but the couple of times I've turned up and a mate is already inside with my ST in their pocket they have made me wait outside til I get my mate to come in from the beer garden.

I might give my ticket to my dad. If that's the case I'd consider Tottenham to watch it.

I'm not 100% certain on this so take it with a pinch of salt, but I think the pubs around Wembley aren't allowed to show matches played there to avoid people turning up without tickets. Worth checking but if so you're better off heading to Tottenham.

There’s also an alcohol ban in the pubs around Wembley before kick off. Not sure how long that lasts but can’t imagine being in a dry pub.

Certainly was the case few years ago! If you want to go to Wembley to sample the armosphere your better off leaving around 16-00ish and heading back into London. Few years ago I went up to Wembley without a ticket to a fa cup final as a mate wanted to sample the atmosphere so thought I’d join him for the piss up anyway we had to walk miles to a shitty pub to watch the actual game.

To summarise then.

The pubs may not let you in and, if they do, they won't be selling alcohol, they won't be showing the game and one of them will be full of Mancs,

Apart from that, it sounds a cracking plan. See you there.

Yeah, they close the pubs an hour before KO, most of the offies too, so best to have a stash of Red Stripes waiting in the wings for the dry times... Unless you have a mate who's flat overlooks Wembley Arena like I do, his fridge will be stocked and his bowl will be full in preparation for this eventuality.

Watched the 2nd half of the Arse game in Watkins Folly. No alcohol ban, no tv ban. Got in with no trouble.

Are you sure?
It may be that the arrangements are different for FA events like the Cup Semi-Final to Tottenham events. I'd suggest calling up the pub beforehand.

Alcohol wise they won't serve anything between 1 hour before kickoff and the match starting.

I’m giving my tickets away to my cousins who missed phase 4 by 2 points! Thinking somewhere inTottenham too, but not sure if it will be lively or not.

I've only been to Tottenham for the United final. I'm thinking it won't be decent for a semi.

Yes, how do you want me to prove it? I've got witnesses who probably couldn't be arsed to come on here and back me up. Bastards.
Left l0mins from the end to watch the rugby at Liverpool St. We were losing, couldn't be fucked about staying.

A pub in the middle of town would be better, could see a lot more Spurs fans bothering if it was there and they knew a pub was being taken over for the day.

I don't think think you should go to Wembley, although I guess you'll have an hour to find another pub in central London.
