I too was a bit of a Saib fanboy. My memories of him are that he had really exceptionally good technique, but he was probably just slightly more refined than the cloggers around him.

I think I read somewhere that there will be 80 guests... if there are 5 ex-managers then that leaves a lot of ex-players. Personally It's going to be great to see some of my favourites back there.... providing there is some way I can find it on TV here in Germany.

I get the feeling there will be a few 'what - why didn't he get an invite?' comments come the end of the day. It's pretty interesting to wonder who will be there and who won't get an invite. I could imagine there will be a few contentious ones.... especially out of the more recent players. Would Robbie Keane get a gig? what about Jenas or Dawson? Crouch? Defoe? What about VDV, Modric and Bale? Would Hughton get a call up - he should....
