I think if Adele was willing to do it, and I don't think she's a fan despite what people think, she'd be saved for the opening of the new stadium rather than the closing ceremony.

Im thinking the same. I would have thought If Adele was on board she would be more likely to headline at the new stadium

To be honest if Adele was up for playing the finale it's a no brainer for Spurs. She's got 28m followers on Twitter. The exposure it would bring to the club would be very useful.

Did the walk in stadium tour today, one of the Spurs staff told me that after the Man U game ends they will be bringing big screens onto the pitch and showing WHL highlight reels, then there is a parade of approx 70 Spurs legends, followed by a concert til 10:30pm. He said the headliner for the concert was confirmed but was well under wraps.

Concert? What concert? Haven't heard anything about that after the game.

Someone mentioned that Sky are broadcasting til 8pm in their schedule, and they have confirmed they will be showing the finale in full. Hope that helps.

Their fervent live following would disagree. They may trade bootlegs of seminal Glenn and Chris gigs: supporting Marillion at Aylesbury Friars, their acoustic set at the Wolverhampton Civic or the epic all-day headlining performance at the Freikorperkultur Festival in Lower Saxony. There are even a few VHS recordings, changing hands among the cognoscenti for insane prices. But they all insist that there's absolutely no substitute for having been there.
