An emotional end to a great season at WHL. Shame a few former players and managers couldn't make it.

I know we're only moving next door, but it really does feel like the end of an era, not least because there are people that I've sat next to/near to for over a decade that I may not see again.

Somewhere tonight David Ginola is very tenderly stroking one out as he rewatches for the thirteenth time the video he took of himself walking out onto the pitch.

Anyone else get a souvenir? My brother got two seats. I wasn't going to bother as we don't have st or sit in Paxton usually but I'm glad he bothered! Saw a bloke get the ketchup and condiment tray

Saw a fan on the pitch walking off with the water bottle carrier they use by the dugout.

Also saw a couple of blokes walking down the high street with a massive piece of advertising hoarding

Convinced they expected the pitch invasion at the end

Got to admit, I felt like a little kid being on that pitch :p
Giggs and Owen in the studio commented on this. They were laughing and said it was good to see the fans doing knee slides by the corner flags and the Klinnsman dive!

I held it together until I saw Edgar Davids walk out. It increased when Ledley stepped out :cry:

Cliff Jones at 82 jogging to the center circle will be something to remember.
Fuck Gareth Bale, Cliff Jones will always be the Greatest Welsh Winger of Tottenham

Some teardrops here today. The older I get, the more emotional I become. Think about it: WHL built in 1899. During WW1 WHL was there, when the germans heavily bombed London, WHL was there. Generation after generation , decade after decade, WHL stood there. Ups and downs. 30 years ago I watched Spurs on TV back home in Norway and dreamt about going to England and WHL. No matter what happened in life, WHL and Spurs were there for me.

This was emotional! Tradition and history obviously have to be put aside for financial reasons. Modern football- can`t say I like it. Anyway, great ceremony today.:) Hopefully the new stadium will be named NEW White Hart Lane, but I fear an oil company from Saudi etc will buy the new name..

I saw a couple of blokes both holding a massive board with something about tickets written on it.

I didn't see the point. If it was something iconic I could understand, but one bloke was very proud to have ripped off an entrance sign denoted with a letter of the alphabet.

Held it up to the crowd I think expecting to be cheered, but instead everyone looked at him like "you're a drunken prick"

So proud of the way the club handled things, having the older players back on the pitch today was beautiful. These were the players that made our club great. Unfortunately not all of them could appear. I haven't cried so much in God knows how many years, ledley walking out really hammered it home. Proud that in our last season at the lane we are unbeaten, such a fantastic achievement for the players and management. Most of all I'm proud to be spurs! everything about the club is world class. Goodbye whl, we had to part to move forward unfortunately. Forever in my heart, fans, players, management and the board.

This season at the lane is a fitting farewell to a place where we had so many memories. The current squad should be proud

I was praying Levy would be dressed up as the emperor from Star Wars, leading out the team today

Na I didn't to be honest but I do get why. I would of been on the pitch as well if I could.

Fitting tribute to our club that our current crop managed to pull off a win against the club we played in our first league fixture.
