With all these "whos getting sacked" and "we need to do this" threads going round.
Thought i'd just ask who is your favourite current spurs player?
and why..

Mine was Bentley but not on current form :-|

I dont really hve any favourites as such. But if i had to say one then it would have to be Ledley King. He's the only one thats stuck with us all this time and actually feels like a genuine Spurs player. And at least i know he wont sell us out, which i cant honestly say about any of our other players. Either of whom could become the next Carrick, Keane or Berbatov and leave for a Champions League Club. All three were players i had great faith in. Although i feel much better over Robbie Keane than the other two. At least he stayed around longer than a couple of years.

Do you think King has stayed where the likes of Carrick/Keane/Berbatov haven't because of an overwhelming sense of loyalty/passion for the club? or because the same opportunities that presented themselves to the other players did not arise for whatever reason to King?

probably woodgate - but I really like O'hara too - he's one who will probably stay and blossom if we get relegated

hard to call whether woody would leave

I really like Gunter. Good at getting forward, solid at the back and quite quick. Nothing outstanding about him, but does his job well.

Thats something we'll never know. But i know that a couple of years ago, after King signed a new contract (5 years i think,) i read an interview in Hotspur magazine with him and he said there wasn't ever any doubt that he'd stay at Spurs. I get the sense that Ledley would stay with Spurs regardless, because he is the Captain. I just cant see him in that kind of position at a bigger Club and so i dont think he would leave if the opportunity came along. But as i say, we'll never know. I felt the same about Campbell, and he played 100 more games than King. Both have only won the Carling Cup (as Captain.) But the injuries of King have prevented the question of whether he'd leave for a bigger Club, ever coming up. But that doesn't matter to me. He's our Gerrard/Terry and theres no need to ask the question of "what if?"

For me Ledley is the man! But his infrequent appearances over the last year even when claimed to be fit, has kind of put a dull sheen on it. I got Keane on my shirt late last season thinking he was a lock to stick around. Got done on that one really.

I also rate Woody and Hutton really highly, and Gomes is fast becoming a favourite of mine. Interesting that ive mostly mentioned all defenders even though in the last 2 seasons we've basically set records for shipping goals...

I'm should avoid having a favourite player - we only go and sell them!

Gotta be Ledley though but I have a soft spot for Daws, JJ and Lennon. It's a shame because a few years ago I loved nearly every one of them including the manager.

My favourite is "the team". If they do well I'm happy.

We sold all of the individual players that I could term favorite so I don't feel its right o pick an individual.

Woody is probably my fav player now after Berbs has left. He was the sort of player i thought would never play for Spurs, and i think he should be club captain as the current King in/out situation is a joke.

I dont know if i agree,Zokora i would have to say is quite good at getting forward he just would have a clue what to do once he gets there.
Im assuming Kushals "good at getting forward" comments are to do with the fact he's decent at breaking away from midfield with the ball then usually nothing comes of it.. or he will most often get fouled.

But on my note Bentley i thought was going to excel and was my favourite player at the first kick of as he has (DID HAVE) skill, speed, goals and good delivery wich i thought would make me like him as a player but such things happen

rite at this point i have a soft spot for KING as everyone else but also lennon

Theres not a single star player in our team so we could only choose from sentiments alone.

Zokora is the most likeable.
Jenas is the most important.
Bale has the most potential.

Modric might be our new star but who knows....so was Postiga.

Two out if three there - no argument on Zoko or Bale, but would say it is between Woodgate and Lennon for most important.

And O'Hara is worth a shout for most committed.

We live in hope for Modric.
