Let me elaborate; finished = crap I.e. no longer very good and certainly not suited to our needs
That's not really finished is it! I wouldn't say he's crap. Or no longer very good. Even if he was it wouldn't really come under the term finished!

I find it very strange that you've never before heard someone say "He's finished" about a player they think is past their best. It's a very common phrase haha.

From The Telegraph:

Breaking news: Fazio spotted with luggage, lady. Stoke unlikely to be destination.
The Telegraph’s staff never rest in their mission to bring you the latest, most reliable and most intimate transfer news.

We have been reliably informed by our eagle-eyed graphic artist, Sam Dodge, that Federico Fazio was, at approximately 14:00 GMT, spotted at London’s Victoria Station.

In the company of a lady friend, the Argentinean international had exactly four items of luggage with him. Our intrepid witness can ‘only assume’ he is on his way to a major international transfer hub where he can make an international flight to possibly make a deal to end his White Hart Lane days

Sevilla or Roma? Who knows? We are pretty sure he isn't flying to Stoke, where other rumours have linked him with.

BREAKING: @marca report Sevilla and #THFC have reached an agreement on a loan deal which will see Fazio return to Spain this month.

The clubs finally agreed on the deal around midday today. The loan deal doesn’t include an option to buy for Sevilla.

Health warning - this is Marca, the Sun and The star are just as reliable.

Fazio seems to only want to go to Sevilla but Sevilla have been saying they can only afford Fazio if they get CL football - and currently they are 5th in the Spanish league (which has 3 CL places), 9 points below RM who are in 3rd.

Spain is the highest ranked league so has 4 places like the premiership.

The loan to Sevilla looks quite conclusive. Bloody cheap Sevilla will not buy him unless they have to or very cheap. Not a good deal for Spurs.

It's good if they are paying his wages which they probably are.

Weird one. We might need Fazio in the coming months due to Vertonghen injury leaving us thinner at the back, but shouldn't need him beyond that... so we loan him out now but have to take him back at the end of the season? :/
