And with Rafa being Spanish, that isn't a bad shout...
They don't have any money to spend, can't see that happening. Sky like to drum up a bit of a story and I imagine the Giroud fee not agreed etc will be their story of drama today with Aubameyang in the middle of it.

Can anyone point to where Herc said 70/30 against another coming in, I can't see it?

Shame as looks like Giroud is off to Chelsea, which means Llorente stays....

Another lesson learnt in the summer, despite changing our scouting team,

personally would have sold him but he does have quality as shown in the past... Needs to knuckle down and give us the performance he gave in Madrid on a regular basis

Just heard on the radio that Chelsea have also accepted a bid for Bats from Sevilla as well as Dortmund. 1 into 2 does not go so one club needs another striker. Straws, clutching and all that. Return maybe? If Spurs do have someone kind of lined up there may be an opportunity.

Llorente was decent last season at Swansea, especially the second half of the season, he got a fair amount of goals in a poor team. We are not getting another striker in this window, so lets hope he can find some form and we try to play to his strengths when he's playing.

Not sure if its the Poch tactics or training methods or drills . The team does not have a plan B. We bought Llorente i would guess as a backup to Kane and also a plan B. Some one who when team sit deep, we could cross the ball to . However whenever Llorente plays for us, I see him playing like a Kane...trying to drop deep and help out the midfield instead of staying tight on the last defender and wait for a long ball or a cross. To be fair to him thats not his strength. . Same thing happen with VJ.

Until we learn to change tactics when Llorente is in the team and when Kane is in the team , we not gonna get much use out of him . Or any other striker for the matter,...there is not that many kane around
