Do they even watch players
before they loan them?
With Winks back
Dembele staying
Amos hovering
and Victor to return
do we need to retain his services?

I think we're a bit too thin in CM to let him go. There won't be much in it for us and with Vic and Winks recovering from bad injuries I don't think we can expect another full on season from Dembele. Big risk for a small gain IMO.

If we don’t have Dier, Dembele, Wanyama, Winks or Amos available I think our next option is a change of formation. Less risk than playing Sissoko, IMHO.

Sissoko did help us to close out a lot of games last season. Unless we can rely on someone else to do the same then I don't see the point.

In what way?
Most time-served footballers
could have done the same.
I'm not a fan obviously.

Trouble is that if they loan him they wont be tempted to want to keep him when they see how shit he is.

He's not at an age where a loan makes sense though because his value is only going to go down now. A loan just makes him a year older and worth even less next summer. I would sell only or at least loan to buy.

I don't think Poch would agree with you. My hope would be that Onomah will get his thumb out of his arse and push on, but I've been hoping in vain for the past 2 seasons.

I wish Poch would agree with me. It's painful watching Sissoko and I'm sure he knows it.

Not sure I agree tbh, the Turkish league really isn't very good - it's only been won once since 1984 by a team that wasn't Fenerbahce, Galatasaray or Besiktas. It's probably weaker than the Championship in England, I reckon a player like Sissoko could do quite well there.

The reason they want to loan him is they probably can't afford him right now, a year on his value goes down.

It's not a try before you buy, not sure it works like that.

A loan move doesn’t do much for us, permanent deal or piss off.

They don’t have any cash now and I don’t think they will in a years time either. They seem pretty skint from what I hear.

It gets him off the wage bill and keeps him playing. This was the club btw that I posted about being interested a month or so back, so it's not a spur of the moment thing, they have been interested for a while.

Perhaps an agreement to buy at the end?

I've heard weve offered Sissoko on loan, weve advised Fenerbahce we'll pay 100% of his wages and that the clause in the contract is that we will pay them £10m for them to sign him on a permanent basis after the year.

Fenerbahce have declined.
