In what way?
Most time-served footballers
could have done the same.
I'm not a fan obviously.

I'm not a fan either but you can see he's a powerful player and is physically imposing to the opposition. Also, we cannot fault his effort, truth be told, so unless we have a 'time served ' footballer we can trust then he has a use. We only seem to have kids to replace him at the moment anyway.

It gets him off the wage bill and keeps him playing. This was the club btw that I posted about being interested a month or so back, so it's not a spur of the moment thing, they have been interested for a while.
and it seems Daniel does get rather large loan fees from Turkish clubs (5 mill for VJ)

Rather use Josh Onomah as back up to Dembele, Dier and Wanyama.
It's not imposing strength we are short of
its vision and skill to support Eriksen and Dele
Preferably play 'em off the park.
He has strength and effort sure
but this only takes him further up the park
until he loses it or misplaces his pass.

Whatever I say is usually wrong so I am gonna continue the habit of a lifetime and suggest keeping
Sasquatch Sissoko until the winter transfer window.

As a back up.

Presumably when it seemed highly likely that we'd sign Grealish, in which case I'd see the logic.

I have rarely seen a premier league player with less ability to control the ball ..... so why do I have a soft spot for the fella....?

Who has asked you to have a soft spot for him?

The guy has been a liability since he signed. Whenever he starts I worry about the game. Levy has to justify forking out 30m for garbage. Compare him with Liverpool's Robertson only 8m ! Enuff said. Move him on !

Maybe I’m crazy and it’s too early for him, but I’d prefer to see Skipps given game time over Sissoko in the engine room tbh.

In my mind what would be ideal is selling aurier, sissoko and Llorente and use the funds to give toby and Mousa big new contracts.

Unrealistic I know

Wow. I never thought I’d see the phrase ‘spur of the moment’ used when talking about sissoko
