Ok...I not a fan of ongoing existing threads.
I like starting a new one!

So...fuck yes!!
My question is......"is this a tipping point?"

I work a as a pyschologist.
Every so often there is a tipping point.
A point where very every team/player rolls into a place where everything seems more comfortable, more capable. Where barriers diminish. Where beliefs rise.

This is where the current Spurs are.
They have broken their tipping point.

They have broken the seal. Our expectations should rise.
We have moved into a new era.
A brand new era!!
There is a new self belief in in town!!!!

Welcome to a new era.

That will happen if we win the FA Cup. But mentally it'll make us a lot stronger in the big games away from home to know they can get a result.

I think it certainly can’t do any harm.
I think we are going through a lot of mini ‘psychological hurdles’ :
Being in a title race twice
Finishing above arsenal first time in years
Drawing with Real Madrid away and then beating them at home
Wembley hoodoo
Beating Chelsea away 1st time in 28yrs
Next one is to win something to get that winning feeling.
New stadium will be another boost

COYS , all positive

I feel like the game was a tipping point, I hope it is. It will give us a lot of confidence to win trophies. We just need to keep our players or if we have to sell someone, make sure we get a quality replacement in.

Said it in the other thread but I think playing at Wembley has helped our big game nerves. We arnt scared of the occasion anymore.

We are an elite team now no doubt.

We're breaking new barriers all of the time under Poch. This season, the Wembley 'hoodoo' has been consigned to the bin and now the Stamford Bridge one has joined it. We have the mentality to win the FA Cup as well.

Of course I want to win FA cup. But CL was absolutely crucial this season more than any other to keep the momentum going. It means the whole perception of us as a club will be a “ big club”. It means we can offer those contracts keep our best and add 1 or 2 more. The upward curve continues.

I think the Battle of the Bridge was a huge tipping point for us. It showed that we couldn't just be bullied or brushed aside like the old Spurs teams.

Sorry to go a little off topic - is this a poetry themed thread, or is this a symptom of posting on a mobile?

Read the second post by @lukespurs7 , found myself clicking my fingers and enthusiastically nodding at the end. Keep up like this, Amazon will start trying to sell me berets in the banner ads.

Mobile poetry just like our football being poetry in motion under Poch.
