Just like the Eurovision Song Contest, so so bent...

It is rather suspect occasionally even if you don't go into the whole conspiracy thing then it's sheer incompetence, honest mistakes you can forgive (eventually) but to have the tools to help that they've been whinging for for ages and not use them leaves it open to suspected nobbling.

Where was that ref from anyone know? The ref for the Belgium game wasn't great either TBH

Would not expect anything else from Fifa. They were never going to turn around and say that it was a mistake as that would undermine VAR.

Had the penalties be given, King Harry would be leading the scoring chart with 4.

The only thing I would say on the first one was that we did get a shot off after which got cleared off the line. It would have been interesting had they cleared it whether they would have called on VAR.

But yeah Russian spies are to blame.

Yep, I know not always popular to say they all hate us, but in this case I think they actually do!

Pathetic they can get away with it too really, makes a mockery of fair play within the game.

I know it's a bit harsh as well but they insist on having referees from each country and a lot of them are just not up to par as has been shown on multiple occasions every international tournament.

They really should be put on a rigorous training course prior to the tournament and be subject to tests.

The ref for the Peru - Denmark game was from Gambia so that insistence goes beyond one from each of the WC countries...

What they'll do is rethink the whole VAR indea and/or concur that the solution was badly implemented. Or something.

The media and even the FA have been sniping at Kane all this year.
World Cup match officials will read up about players and assume Kane and Alli are just dishonest cheats. We can hardly be surprised when come to this conclusion.

The media have ended any chance of either getting a penalty in this competition and worse they can be chopped down like Alli was, and there will not even be a free kick let alone card shown.

Fans here would much rather their club did well than country and Liverpool fans will take this further to actively destroy the reputation of England players in the hope of their team scraping into the CL places.
They're a small minded club, but you can sort of understand their childish antics.

But why would the English media echo their twisted views instead of condemning them?
