3 good results from home nations yesterday and Rep Ireland 1-0 up in Serbia already

Apparently Red Star is their big team, Serbia national team a poor third behind them and the national basketball team.

Poor opposition but great start nevertheless for us - Bale up and running and a good result with ROI drawing out in Serbia

Serbia away will be pretty tough for anyone and they were missing a couple of decent players tonight, but they look pretty shit defensively and the goalkeeper is really bad. Just a shame Ireland couldn't string three passes together to test him enough.

BTW, did anyone see the penalty Scotland got last night? One of the worst decision I've seen in a long time. Makes the Premier League refs look competent

US v. Trinidad & Tobago tonight in Jacksonville, FL. Basically no way we don't go through to the Hexagonal after this evening (Guatemala needs to make up -12 GD *if* we were to lose to T&T, which is quite unlikely to begin with). T&T is through already.

I hope to see a much more attacking lineup tonight (i.e. no Kyle Beckerman). I'll be OK if Christian Pulisic doesn't start, but the plan should be to bring him on in about the 55th minute. I'd like to see Darlington Nagbe get the start, though.

Red Star used to be a big European team.

England u21's 6-1 up against a strong Norway team. Maybe big and little Sam will include a few from here as they're both here watching. Rashford hat-trick , Loftus-Cheek very strong, good performance from all.
Final whistle .

New manager same shit with Belgium. Verts shunted out to LB for Vermaelen.
Came to write the same thing. Yes, little lukaku was horrible @ LB but with the abundance of CBs they have why do they never go to 3/5 at the back. Plus, how in the world does Dembele not get a start over Fellaini or witsel? Can only guess it's because he hasn't played this year.

Janssen has looked good first half. Strong as an ox and with a good eye for a pass. Unlucky not to have scored when hit the back of his team-mate with an on target strike.
