The way he pressed last night he would have done well under Poch. Wrong timing and all that!
Yes glad to see him back. I think he became the scapegoat for a lot wrong in the team and certainly lost all confidence and form by the time of the World Cup in Brazil but a player who always had something

Brilliant result for Ireland, I wasn't intending to go to Russia but if both Irish teams get through it would be rude not to

Long way to go but great start to the campaign.
We've played the two of the three biggest away games and come away with 4 point and 3 away games played already.

Wales will be huge in March. Kind of hoping Bale is injured for that one.

Well this thread will suffice for tonight ...

Republic of Ireland vs Wales 7.45

Got me a few beers ready.

Live on RTE2

The downside... Ronnie Whelan co commentating and back in the studio we have Darragh Maloney anchoring with Eamonn Dunphy Liam Brady and Ritchie Sadlier.

Understatement, fucking drab.

What's with Bale wearing gloves. He changed

Madrids a bit warmer than the valleys. Been a nice spring day here today 13/14 degrees but cold tonight, got the central heating on, had snow on the hills the last couple of nights.
