This Holland team is so wasteful, it's unreal. At least Janssen's had a great game.

Is this all confederations qualifying? Venezuela drew Argentina tonight(Lamela came off at 67') in CONMEBOL.

In CONCACAF, the US tops its group heading into the final round(the hex). Pulisic is busy making Jozy look like a half decent striker which is incredible in its own right. The competition is shit but i think most know this kid is pretty damn good. Hope Tuchel gives the kid playing time this year even with an abundance of AM options because he proved last year during league and Europa that he is definitely good enough already at 17.

I also really like the look of Gabriel Jesus. City got themselves a good one. Brazil have a phenominal future front 3 w/ Neymar, Gabriel Barbosa(now at Inter) and Gabriel Jesus.

Wimmer is starting for Austria.

Davies also starting for Wales. This could be quite a good game, but as i look at it, is Wimmer on the flank? Is he playing at RB? Unless Wales are starting Bale in the middle, will be interesting to see how they measure up.

Spain all over us (Italy) in this first half. They're missing key players but the discipline and culture is still there. Amusing to see Costa getting a taste of his own medicine from Bonucci though.

Don't expect much from Italy over the next few years. We're very much devoid of any serious talent. We tend to play as a unit well enough, but without key players to turn games we'll be quarter/semi-final material at best.

Did you notice how 'thin' Wimmer looks? About a stone less than last year. He looks fit as f*ck.

I didn't even know he was on the pitch until he scored the OG if I'm honest. But yes, he looks a lot more trim than he did last season! Then again, Janssen has lost a lot of weight since we signed him, so it must be down to Poch.

Jesus mate, you want to try being Scottish, we've gone from teaching the the best dutch footballing generation a lesson to being pleased if we beat Malta at home in 4 decades. It's pitiful.

Why are Italy playing in Turin ?
