I didn't watch it but 0-0 is a decent result to bring back.
To be honest we should have walked away with a win. Juric had a golden 1 on 1 and put it wide. Mass Luongo (his best game since the last World Cup) put in a beautiful ball from the byline and 2 players ran past it open. They had one shot on target straight at Ryan. Should have no problems at home. Should!

NZ 0-0 Peru. I think that'll be the All Whites' chance gone.

It's like the teams down here don't want to score!! oh, and the A-League is continuing while Aus and NZ national teams play their games. Find that a bit odd.. Sydney lost to CCM last night, bit of an upset.

I actually think it was a good result for NZ, they are better at countering and Wood should be fit, so might suit them better.

going back to November 2015, Peru have lost just once at home. Brazil (3-0). In fact, in all that time they have lost just 4 times (5 if you include a penalty defeat) and two were to Brazil.

Paolo Guerrero is a big loss, and it seems unfair if he's telling the truth that he had the flu and the banned substance was in his medication.

That keeper was picked by some bloke on the phone claiming to be George Weah. Christian Eriksen would be the King of the Corners in these conditions.

Personal highlight so far is seeing that someone hung an Ivory Coast flag upside down in the crowd. Either that or we really do get everywhere.

Not looking forward to the Denmark/Ireland game really, Can just imagine O’Niell’s idea of tactical innovation will be slapping McLean whilst showing him pictures of Eriksen shagging his (McLean) wife whilst wearing a British army uniform.

On the one hand I want Denmark to win because they play slightly better football and Ireland are a horrible team under O’Neill, and the WC won’t be enriched by having another bus parking bunch of shitkickers out there but on the other hand I don’t particularly want Eriksen to have a busy summer.

I’m hoping Ireland win (sorry @RickyVilla ). Nothing to do with the quality of football, I just think the green army tend to light up tournaments for a bit. No Dutch parties in Russia next year either.

Anyone planning on going to Russia? Would be great to get out to an England game in Sochi!

Also, at this rate it looks like The Ivory Coast are gonna miss out to Morroco in their group... bit of a surprise there. Where’s Coulibaly when you need him?

I'd rather have Eriksen playing in the world cup next summer than have the Irish kick him out of it, I watched their game against Wales and I reckon they'll be just as physical tonight, I want him protected.

I’d love to see my team at their first World Cup since 2002 but the fact it won’t enrich your summer is making me think again. Better off just having all the big nations and big players because they always show up at the major tournaments and never disappoint.

I think we’re all getting the idea now. 100% support for the Irish tonight or this place is short of a few members tomorrow.

Right, I’m off.
