Knowing absolutely nothing about him, I would be a bit more hopeful that he could adapt to England better than that Juan Foyth chap - Tim Vickery didn't fill me much hope about him.

Tim Vickery's terrible at scouting players. Pay no heed.

Tim Vickery isnt a scout, agreed. But he knows his South American players. And importantly, he is a Spurs fan. So,no hidden agenda

Remember him saying nice words on Paulinho but at same time warned us about how he failed in Europe earlier for the Lithanian club he played.

I know he's a spurs fan. Just saying he's a history of bad calls on what players will/won't transition well to England. Can't recall specific names at this time but more than Paulinho it's his excessive caution over younger players that has always stood out to me. Routinely predicts it's too early for players who then go onto become quick hits abroad. Foyth's lack of games certainly stands out so Vickery may well be correct on that front, but still I couldn't help but roll my eyes over his analysis because this is basically the same thing he says about every player below the age of 23 or so.

We seem to be linked to every young player playing for Dinamo since we bought Modric.
A little OT, but whatever happened to Ante Coric? I had convinced myself he was the next Modric with a little more attacking impetus, and then it seems like he has dropped off the map.

Probably because he's a young lad still developing his game

I'm sure you are right, but it just seemed like he was one of the most highly spoken of U21's in the world to now having barely heard his name in 12 months. Seemed like he had his head on straight - turning down Bayern to stay and develop at Dinamo.
