I remember the poll from last year when we were in the driving seat- back then it was a clear winner for 4th.

This year will it will be tougher to finish in top 4; where do yo think we will finish?

[The statistic buffs among us may be interested in the very statistical approach below; unfortunately it favours City but the only stat that matters is the one in 7 games time] http://www.castrolfootball.com/eplpredictor/tablepredictor/

I have put 2nd for the outside chance we catch Arsenal and Chelsea, for me it will be a repeat of last year's top 4. COYS

3rd is very much possible. Our boys are pumped and will fight tooth and nail to win every game. Chelsea have looked poor even though theyve been winning, and City quite frankly are over rated.

But I went for 4th.

Really don't want to say. We've seen in the past couple of games how city could be good and how they can implode.

No Tevez and the increasing rumpus in their camp means things could go badly wrong... that said, it's not a given that our form will kick in either...

They only looked really good when Mancini had the balls to play 442, but after the Liverpool game there's no way they will play that way again. They'll revert back to their boring tripe with their 2 and a half DMs.

Good news about City is that the Liverpool game proved how important De Jong is for them. He is currently on 9 yellows, 1 away from a 2 game ban. He will miss at least a 3rd of their remaining fixtures and they look weaker without him. If he misses our game it would mean a lot more room for our midfield to tick.

I've gone for 5th right now in this moment of time, beat Arse on Wednesday and I'll upgrade that to 4th straight away....

As long as Mancini keeps playing Barry and Milner we'll finish comfortably fourth or maybe third.

If he wises up and plays De Jong/Silva/Johnson/Toure then it will be a tough battle and we'll have to win at their place.

Also Arsenal and Chelsea may be catchable if we beat them both. If both Liverpool and us beat Arsenal, and we win our other game, then we are only 3 points behind them and they've got quite a tough run in.

unless we have a striker that can score in 5 of our last 7 games we are in trouble. I think we need home wins and a draw away to city to clinch 4th. Possible, but unlikely.

5th looks the likely bet but with Spurs you never know. It all depends on how we react to going out. Last season we lost to Sunderland then the FA Cup Semi Final to Portsmouth. It all looked bleak but then we beat Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City to clinch 4th. We have to do the same again.
