Are you kidding? They are more rigorous then the Chinese regime during the One Child policy.

Name me one club that had flouted the rules.

Has FFP been completely abandoned by UEFA?
They aren't gone it's just that teams have figured out how to completely get around them.

Take City for example. Instead of the rich Sheikh directly pumping money into the team they create seperate companies. One to pump in tons of sponsorship money into the club and another to pay for all of Man City's employees so that those salaries are no longer on their record books for FFP. Plus the somewhat fake sponsorship money inflates their "earnings" meaning they can balance it out to match FFP regulations.

Chelsea run a separate import export business where they import good young players with absolutely no intention of them ever playing for Chelsea, loan them out for a couple of years then export them, selling them on for a profit.
30 players out on loan an average £10 to £15 million profit on each one is £300 to £450 million revenue, ffp my arse.

All true, plus the 'stealth' payments that are currently being made....basically a club agrees to pay a player x amount, which goes through the clubs books, and on their wage bill...but they also, through third parties top this players wages up with stealth payments, which as long as the player is paying tax on isn't illegal.
So what the club publicly claim the players wages are, isn't always necessarily the whole story.
Makes a complete mockery of FFP.

I thought FFP rules got suspended for review when the new head of the FA came in.

But in all honesty we should have never let these people buy our clubs.
Kronke should be banned from running any type of sports team just look at the LA Rams.
Abrahmovic is just a Putin crony and ex kgb operative and still a Russian agent in certain situations like buying the World Cup.
Man City's owners are willing to actively rape all the resources of their country without pumping any money back in.

Our owners are not innocent basically when people say scum rises to the top it can be used to describe the ownership of the Premier League.

Sounds more like a people-smuggling racket than a football club.

With all due respect, why would the PL or UEFA care about reinvestment in Qatar?

Uefa ffp rules or pl ffp rules? There are two, i take it that you are talking about uefa rules as you mention them.

These are the rules

http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Tech/uefaorg/General/02/26/77/91/2267791_DOWNLOAD.pdf

It might be easier if you explain which have been broken and by whom?

In the annexe (xi) that talks about things like sponsorships and external relationships, (along with other parts of the document) there is enough scope for a club like Man City to contravene the spirit of the regulations without breaking them. That is a matter of poor drafting, though goodness knows it must have been hard enough to try to list all the possible issues let alone make the provisions water-tight across all the different national jurisdictions and legal and financial conventions involved.

City were already investigated for that, was partly the reason they got the fine (i think?).

A fine is just about the most inappropriate and ineffective penalty imaginable in the circumstances don't you think?

I believe they also issued a warning, but all they have done is allow City to pay a small fee to cement a position where the base for all their calculations is higher than that for most competing clubs. Future performance and transgressions will be measured against an artificially high base, so what has it achieved other than to reinforce City's advantage?

Agree totally that fines are a stupid way to punish a club. Not just for ffp but racism? Do you think the fans of lazio give a shit about the club getting a €50k fine for their abuse? The only way it will be stamped out is if clubs are kicked out of competitions.

I would have been more than happy to see city get a ban from europe for breaching the rules. But uefa are not really that bothered with the mega rich investing millions into their clubs what it was intended for was for clubs to not risk bankruptcy. Which you have to say has worked. Clubs getting around it by paying players through other means is more a matter for individual countries tax authorities, hence the raids in england, france italy and the spanish clamp down.

Did'nt City have some kind of meaningless lower squad limit for the CL because of them breaching FFP?
