As decent as he can be he isn't a player who can take us to the heights we want to reach. An obvious sale this summer personally.

I like him a lot but no room for sentiments now. Get rid of all the shite and those not adding much to the team/squad.

His injury record is too unpredictable and I doubt he'd fit in a Nuno team whether we play 343 or 4231. I suspect Nuno will be trying to integrate attacking players who have a lot of pace (Son, Bergwijn, Lucas are all more suitable for WF roles)

Seems like his time to move on. With 1 year left on his contract the only way to get much of a fee is to have more than 1 team interested.

Handy bargaining chip if we're after Milenkovic/Vlahovic. It's the right time to move Lamela on for him and us.

"Sold Elvis, bought the Beatles" last player left.

Eriksen being the only one of the seven brought in post Bale that window to truly shine, and whilst Lamela has always played for the shirt, as many prior have said, injuries have hampered his Spurs tenure, and pastures new could well be best for all concerned.

Can't knock the lads application, and if he does leave, certainly wish him all the best for the future.

Rather sissoko, winks , and Lucas make way first but there's probably no takers for the above . Especially the first 2

Especially since Sissoko needs to be in the team and play regularly to be half decent; Winks has become - if the stories are to be believed - somewhat of a rotten apple that sours the atmosphere and, to be fair, deserves to play more often (most likely for a mid table club - that is: more mid table than us); and Lucas is even more on and off than Lamela - and definitely does not possess the same defensive fibres as his fellow South American.

Lamelaprobably still has a half decent rep in Italy, and could maybe be used as a part of a swap deal.

But of all our players he´s the only one I´m certain of would be willing to bleed for the jersey and badge. If we have had more players with his attitude, I´m certain that we would have won a trophy or two in his time with us.

He is Spurs through and through for me and always plays with the intensity the other players lack. Unfortunately it may be an apt time to part, though if he stays i won't be unhappy!
