not sure how they come to that conclusion. I guess he is playing AND starting games but let’s face it he has no competition as everyone else is either injured or covering someone else’s position because of injury. I don’t see him getting many minutes from Feb assuming we have a fit squad.

Mixed feelings

Gill links well with los and bents when we get to The final third I dont feel he gives us enough.

We need wingers to score goals and I dont believe this will ever be be him, hos def not dangerous Brian, has anyone watch Gill shoot he has no power in his shots and the look very easy to save. Watching him warm up and in games I just don’t think he will score goals.

Maybe it’s because he is not a winger.

Unfortunately he is brought on to play wide and I hear the frustration in the crowd shouting why doesn’t he take on and beat his man and put a cross in?

The answer is he is not a winger blessed with swagger and pace. He is a left sided attacking midfielder who passes and moves quickly and needs others around him to do the same to break the line. We do not play him in that role so do not reap the benefits of his skills.

That is why he and us always look more effective with Gio and Benty playing together.

He has always been more successful abroad and sadly we can no longer afford to have a player in our squad who we will not get the best from.

The club he goes to will.
