Just having my cod supper I thought some 'chips' would accompany it perfectly...so which chip or lob of the goalkeeper do you consider to be the best ever (including panenka penalties) ?. This is my favourite........
Let me take you back to October 20th 1996....Newcastle Vs Man Utd....the score is 4-0 when Phillipe Albert does something very special :

Always remember Schmeichel looking totally dejected and just wanting the ground to swallow him up.

Over to you for your selections...............

Just go and watch a career highlights vid for Totti. He scored dozens of the greatest chips you'll ever see.

Great shout from the OP, Albert's chip is the best I can remember, along with Cantona's vs Sunderland.

Hoddle at Watford was nice but love the one by Totti where he finishes off a mazy dribble with a beautiful chip.

Was behind the goal for that goal against Watford. I just remember watching that ball stay in the air for so long. I thought he fucked it up at first. I wasn't even sure about the direction the ball was going 'cause he hit it so softly and so high, then thought it was going to sail over the bar, and then I thought it was going to be an easy catch for the goalie, and then fuck me!!!

Doesn't beat Hoddle's or many of these that have been already posted. But I like they way he goes past the defender and then chips Neuer using his right foot when he's so one footed.
