Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker have been named in the 23-man squad for the trip to Slovakia in England's first World Cup 2018 qualifying match on Sunday week, 4 September.

They've all just spent the entire fucking summer together and are probably sick of the sight of one and other (not just the Spurs players), i fucking hate having an international break barely 4 weeks into a new domestic season it's ridiculous. I've said it before have a calendar for domestic season then when it's finished have a nice chunky block for international fixtures.

Agreed so the qualifiers themselves almost become a mini tournament. We could shorten the season by about 4 weeks with no international breaks

The problems of having a team with a good English backbone in the premier league.
Maybe we should focus on more African players so we're not disrupted so much

New manager, same predictable squad. What happened to "I will players on form"

Not singling him out but what has Deli Alli done thus far to warrant a call up? There are of course others.
