So Liverpool at home on the 15th, then GW1 of the CL on the 18th/19th, could be a couple of massive games to christen the new stadium. Cant be arsed to go to Wembley again for Fulham so i might use the credit to get CL tickets, hopefully they'll be selling the group stage ticket package like last season.

If the stadium isn’t ready for the Liverpool game I reckon it will be postponed rather than swapped.

Please be reminded that fixtures are subject to change. Especially for Chelsea and Arsenal who will have to change a lot of theirs to Sundays.

I'm gonna be that guy that says - it doesn't matter what order the games are, we have to play everyone home and away.

Bloody hell 8 of our first 12 games are away!!!
We have to play every team home and away (apart from Fulham), so should mean we can put a little run together second half of the season.

It's true, but obviously neglects the fact that certain runs of top or bottom teams in a row, could have massive effects on form and confidence. Normally we tend to get some runs of top4 sides straight after each other, but this year it seems rather spread out. Be interesting to see the effect it has on us. 5 away games out of the first 7 seems quite excessive. Lucky that we aren't the old Spurs anymore, who you'd always back to lose away against even the shittiest of teams.

Liverpool at our new home first is brilliant. What an atmosphere, what a game.
Much rather have them than a smaller team.
Bring it on.

I don’t think Levy would make an official announcement with being 100% confident it will be ready for Liverpool.
Given Levy hasn't made a statement, I think you are saying he is not confident it will ready for Liverpool.
Re-reading again, actually he is confident - I hope you do not code for a living.

First "home" game vs Liverpool to christen the new stadium. What a fixture....if we win. Can't help thinking that i would rather a softer game to start the new stadium with a win and get any talk of Hoo Doos out of the way

But then if we lose to a "softer" team, the fallout will just be worse.

We'll beat Liverpool don't worry about that. Think back to the last game at WHL, nobody in the whole ground wanted to lose that, it will be the same for the first game at the new stadium. Everyone will be desperate to win. The atmosphere will be amazing. Cant wait!
