Poor Fulham! Might be their only season in the Premier League and they don't get to enjoy our incredible new stadium!

FYI the Fulham game. From ispurs faqs

I was a Season Ticket holder during the 2017/2018 season – can I have this seat for the game at Wembley Stadium?

If you have renewed your Season Ticket, you will be allocated the seat previously held last season at Wembley. This will be reserved for you to buy during the dedicated sales window, using the credit held in your eTicketing Account.

Not what I wanted but does make sense. Might not take it up though and try to nab a seat behind the goal in the hopes quite a lot of people don't want to go.

It's true, but obviously neglects the fact that certain runs of top or bottom teams in a row, could have massive effects on form and confidence. Normally we tend to get some runs of top4 sides straight after each other, but this year it seems rather spread out. Be interesting to see the effect it has on us. 5 away games out of the first 7 seems quite excessive. Lucky that we aren't the old Spurs anymore, who you'd always back to lose away against even the shittiest of teams.

At the beginning of the season a newly promoted team might be more motivated, or at the end of the season they may be motivated by a relegation battle. Likewise the top of the table, depending on how the season goes, you may want to play City at the end of the season when they've already won the league, or maybe they'll still be fighting for it. There's no way to know which fixture spread is better until the season is over.

Seems like they've used common sense though thankfully

Questions for the statisticians and researchers -
1.Have we ever played the same team on the first game of the season in consecutive seasons and both times away ?
2. Have we ever played same team, home or away on the opening game of the season in consecutive seasons ?
3.Have we ever played the same team on the first game of the season at home in consecutive seasons ?

From at least 40 plus years of memory I don't think we have so this could be something of a first. It would also be nice to repeat the same 2-0 scoreline.

Oh god can you imagine the scousers if we lose to them in the first game at the Lane.

The year is 2050, Tottenham have just won the league after going undefeated at home all season, @spursofficial tweets a celebration picture and the replies are flooded by Liverpool fans going "BUT DID YOU KNOW THE FIRST PLAYER TO SCORE A GOAL AT THE NEW WHITE HART LANE WAS MO SALAH!"
Not if he moves to Real... :sneaky:

I assume you have other nephews?? And in all probability you’ll have the chance to go to his “next wedding”

If the seats are at last year prices I will make some money out of it and get a better seat

Fantastic it's Liverpool. The buzz will be amazing, it's Liverpool who should be dreading it....not us ffs, typically negative lol

They're probably feeling unlucky to be the first team to come to NWHL.

First tv fixtures will be announced 6 July. Seems a bit close to start of the season thought it was usually 6 weeks notice.
