what would you say is the most overrated goal of all time?

Imo its Xabi Alonso vs Newcastle. He fluffed the shot in the first place, and the only reason it went in is because of Harper doing his best Gerrard impression. 999/1000 that is saved with ease

The Rooney one for Everton vs West Ham this year has to be up there for me. I don't get the fuss over it at all. He was in absolutely acres of space, the shot was underhit and didn't even make it all the way to the goal, it bounced well short and just bobbled in. He was also pretty much right in the middle of the pitch too so had the entire width of the goal to aim at. Only reason it went in was because the keeper (Hart) was faffing around 40 yds out over by the touchline and there was no defnders in the box, otherwise they'd have easily been able to collect it. The hype about it was baffling to me.

I appreciate there's a certain element of being able to keep a calm and take advantage of the situation by making that split-second decision but really there was nothing special about the goal at all IMO. An easy shot into an open goal, and it wasn't even hit very well. Would've been different if he'd burried it in the top corner or something but it just bobbled in because he underhit it.

That Rooney goal comes off his foot. There is a good angle of it that I posted on here one time or another but f knows where as I can't find it again.

That Bergkamp goal always bothered me a bit. It never looked like it happened quite the way he expected it to.
