Does Coutinho actually do anything other than alternate between scoring screamers and putting the ball in row z?

This is all to do with age, what were Aguero, Lewandowski and Alexis Sanchez doing when they were 22?

They were nowhere near Kane's numbers!

So whose emailed for the 30 most valuable teenagers list?

Harry is so easily explained. Young, english, very marketable and a great player. Hazard's fallen off a bit this season so Im not sure how he's still over €100m

I thought a players price was pretty much a reflection of how valuable he is to his club at any given moment mixed up with the terms of his contract. I don't see how they can make an algorithm for that

€90m for Raheem Sterling... christ on a motherfucking bicycle...
Man City a very wealthy Premiership club just paid £50m or whatever for him. If they're selling now it would be for a huge fee.

Probably not in line with the framework though.

The wealth of the selling club can make a huge difference.

Do they take the specific league into account?

With the new TV deal in the PL next year, you could have mediocre players actually being worth a hell of a lot, simply by virtue of the fact that they kept their team from being relegated.

So the likes of Defoe knocking in, say, 9 or 10 goals this season or next, keeping Sunderland in the league, could potentially be worth more than Isco or the like.

Undoubtedly so. Players in the Bundesliga would be worth far more relatively with no respect to television money.

I think contract length has a lot to do with these values. If Kane's contract was up this summer, he'd be worth about £15/20m.
