Most of the others are pretty awful. Henry never has any useful insights unless it’s on a striker but Kevin Kilbane is truly dreadful.

I have access to a lot of US channels, and I don't think the UK knows how lucky they are.
Unless you've had the experience of listening to Steve Nicol analysing a game then you've never truly experienced pain.
Warren 'Tangoman' Barton can be equally awful as well.
The NBC guys aren't too bad in general.

Carragher, Jenas, Higginbotham and Murphy are all good. Been impressed with Lampard too. Hinchcliffe is getting better on commentary as well.

Worst - Niall Quinn seems to have stopped doing it but he was awful. Of those I know to still be active, probably Thierry Henry.

Can't stand McManaman as a pundit but he is definitely better than Henry or Jamie Redknapp.

I find Gerrard unbelievably dull. For a fella who showed a lot of passion on the pitch he seems awfully flat in the studio, even when talking about his former team.

I think there are guys out there that I don't particularly like, but I couldn't say they were objectively bad pundits

Sutton is the worst for me. I can't say Merson for the simple reason that if feels like I'd be abusing someone with special needs.

First time I saw Sutton doing studio work was on Final Score when Dele scored the worldy against Palace. The muppet genuinely sat there before kick off saying that Palace would finish above us that season, keeping in mind that the game was at the end of January. We finished 3rd, Palace ended 15th. He's a low budget Robbie Savage and I can't stand that dickhead either but at least Savage doesn't sound like Ron Manager with constipation

Hated him as a player but as a pundit G.Neville, also at least he's put hit balls on the line and tried management and had the guts not to shy away went it went wrong for him. (his brother is shite at it though)

J.J's very good too.

Rio can be very good but doesn't seem to do much homework so i find him hit or miss.

Jamie Redknapp is stealing a living.

I liked Ray Wilkins when he was on Sky for a time. My word.

Gary Neville is the best now. Danny Murphy and JJ are very good.

McManaman is horrendous, as is Gerrard. But the whole thing about McManaman is when he co-commentates he reacts with the Ooooohhhhhhh almost 90% of the time anything happens. He's fucking awful
