No surprise there then. It’s an elite competition with restrictions and they’re fringe players.

I think we have to start giving Foyth some games for him to progress and limit his frustration.

keep him in and leave out Serge Aurier....ok obviously won't happen but wanted Serge out this summer and KWP in as RB number two

yeah, your opinion is odd.
not so odd...I really don't think Serge is good enough and want him out asap as I think KWP is better today and will be better at RB in the years to come. I also think Foyth has massive potential. It is sad that Serge is effectively blocking two terrific young players.
Some might say that, for eg, Sissoko is blocking Foyth but, despite his flaws, Mo provides something +ve in certain circumstances....he isn't a bad option to close things down.

Serge is in no way, shape, or form blocking Foyth. Also, Sissoko in no way, shape, or form offers something positive to this team and only serves to block Amos and TOB.

1. Serge is taking a slot that Foyth could, therefore, blocking (whether you agree or disagree with his value to the squad is a sep question
2. Mo gets a lot of deserved criticism....but has assisted in closing out certain games (has been discussed in detail on this site but you may disagree). I'd replace him with Josh Onomah and would rather he is moved on....but I'd put Serge higher on my list of players to sell.

That List:
Aurier
Janssen
Sissoko
GKN
Fernando
Vorm (next summer)

You might want to read some analysis that shows the we are vulnerable on the right with Trippier and more secure with Aurier.

I thought Foyth was injured or has been for a while. No point taking risks on a young player who we expect much from.

We have lost our way on signings
with regard to our own and other talented youngsters.
Aurier and Sissoko were both bad buys
from this point of view.
KWP, Onomah, and probably Amos
have been blocked.
Scott Parker warned of this possibility
during his brief tenure.

We buy for positions that are already covered
and not for positions we clearly need.
*Striker and a creative central midfielder
to back up Harry K and Eriksen.

Foyth has to get some game time somewhere otherwise I fear we could lose him.

Dier provided cover on the right last season when Tripps was caught up field.
But he can't do this if he is the central DM, and he certainly can't do this if he is on the bench.
Eriksen is also right sided and he has largely been poor this season. He can be effective in tackling plus coming away with the ball, but does not look interested so far - WC hangover maybe.

Lamela put in good defensive work on the right way back when - if he has overcome his problems then he too can do his bit in plugging that hole.

PS could foyth play midfield? Players today often can play more than one position well - if he had another string to his bow, he'd get more opportunities.

How many penalties has Trippier conceded Vs Aurrier?
How many foul throws in his lifetime has Trips done, compared to Aurrier in one match?
How many times has Trippier been sent off for us?
We are in no way better off with Aurrier on the right than Trippier.

And how long has he been playing for us compared to Trippier? Foul throws were in one match, so that's a dumb comment even for you. Trippier doesn't get back in time to even give away a penalty. Aurier's penalties have been when he's been trying to retrieve a situation. He takes players on more than Trippier does, too.

How often is Aurrier giving away those penalties because it was him that screwed up and had to scramble back though?

It's all swings and round abouts. I think Poch has a lot of work to do to iron out Aurrier's issues.
I'm not suggesting throwing him on the bonfire just yet. We all know full backs improve under Poch. He wouldn't be my first choice in big games though.

Trippiers corner and free kicks have added something new to the team this year too.

Would rather use Foyth in the odd League game and domestic cups than the Champions League so happy enough with that
