This is not surprising given everything that happened this week. They absolutely pound Man U in second half and all they have to show for it is a serious injury to their best player. Their second best goal scorer leaves for two weeks. A club icon is sold and leaves. Exactly like the summer, absolutely nothing is done to reinforce or maybe even push forward the current group. Then the replacement for your best player scores an own goal ten minutes into the game.

As much as we are frustrated as fans, how do you think the players and coaches are feeling? What the hell is Poch supposed to do? What would you do when you turn back and look at the options available on the bench today?

Bottom line - when you dont improve the group of players for almost a full year, you are asking for issues like this. If we cant beat one of the worst teams in the league, we are screwed. CL is a big deal for next year finally entering a new stadium (assuming that actually happens). Without investment, it likely slips up and a lot of other bad things could happen.

This all rests on Levy's shoulders. We hear excuse after excuse but at some point those excuses don't matter. Make something happen. Back the manager. Fix the problems everyone has seen since August (midfield anyone?) or risk it all slipping away.

Gonna end up going into the stadium with the sixth best side in the league whilst having the 2nd/3rd and at times arguably, the best side in the league in the previous 3 seasons!
Possible, but if it ends up being the case levy should hang his head in shame no excuse if that happens. I still choose to believe we will squeak 4th no matter what.

We were awful earlier in the season when we kept switching between a back 3 and a back 4. Not a surprise to me we look a mess at the back again with this switch.

Yeah but with Kane/Son/Moura missing I'm not sure there was too many other options. Would Llorente work in a 4-2-3-1?

When Eriksen doesn't show up, Tottenham does not show up. He's got to pull his finger out in the second half or we've got next to no chance.

I don't want to jump on the negative bandwagon, but I thought that was championship level football. But, when you miss that many first teamers it's inevitable. Can only hope for better 2nd half.

Every one of those players is an international. As patched together as it is, there's no excuse for how poor we've been. An utter shambles and if this is what we've got for the next month, let alone 6 weeks, we are fucked.

Poch needs to take Llorente off pushing Lamela up front. bring Dier on into midfield and allow Eriksen and Dele to sotheir stuff. Very worrying how easily Fulham are putting us under pressure but if we keep playing low intensity aimless football then we deserve to lose. Could be embarrassing
I'd probably make the same change but put Dele up top

Their balls into the box have been far more dangerous than ours, apart from Vertonghen's to Llorente.

Generally, Lamella, Dele & Llorente have been poor in an attacking sense & Eriksen's balls into the box have been poor.

Can’t really blame Llorente he barely gets a game and after the own goal the confidence is rock bottom. Back three clearly isn’t working take off Sanchez and put in Dier preferably or Skipp.
He rarely gets a game because he never scores against decent opposition.

Second week in a row they've come off at half time and Poch is going to need to give them a rocket.

Hope for a different result this time round.

It’s probably been said but...Llorente actually attacked their corner? Nobody in their right mind would open their foot towards their own goal?
Think he was trying to push it wide of the post because he saw it late and couldn't get it away. And, well, fucked it up.

Considering performances like this I’m glad Poch is happy that untested youth are good enough replacements

The absolute state of our bench and some individual performances were laughable. Trippier and Sanchez all over the place.

Get dier on. Surely he can do a job for 45 mins.

Can see Fulham scoring again though
