What is the general feeling should Soldado fail to make an impact?

*He was a little bit better against United*

I don't see this one tonight as 'New Manager Snydrome'

This was coming as soon as Rene Meulensteen walked in the door a couple of weeks ago as head coach. It's not like he's just arrived. If it was a brand new managers first game I could understand it to a point, but this is Fulham who are very very poor, they are not even under-acheiving, they are just down right poor.

Confident we will get the win tonight, just please pick the same team we had on Sunday!

But that's a debate for another thread.....

New Manager!
We never do well at the cottage.
Meulensteen has a lot of work to do to turn Fulham around and with Palace winning last night, the pressure is definitely on them. I would rather play them now than in 2 or 3 weeks.

I was at the cottage when Gomes threw the ball in his own net.

I was in the photo in the paper the next day behind the goal. I did not look happy. Jimbo looked even unhappier.

I was also there when Kamara (I think it was him) scored an absolute worldy right at the end.

Stupid cottage. I hope we embarrass them there tonight to make amends.

With that being said, I have nothing to back that up with apart from optimism.
I remember when Drogba arrived. I thought he was dreadful in his first season, he missed a lot now than he scored.
But the fact is, he was always in the thick of it regardless and when he found his touch he became a formidable striker.
At the moment there's nothing at all to suggest there's more to come from Soldado.
But we can hope. ...

Is it just my false fan perception or do we often seem to get teams after they've just sacked a manager and so are on the new manager bounce syndrome ?
