Pretty certain AVB will pick the same side with Lamela in for Chadli on the left hand side.

Berbatov's agent has just said that he's not happy at Fulham and is looking to leave.

Can't see him starting tonight with that sort of attitude.

I'd take him on a 6 month loan.

I agree with the general opinion that Chadli is likely to be rested.

Have a gut feeling that we might see Townsend on the left.

If we start with Townsend on the right and Lennon on the left, however, I will channel my anger at the nearest anal cavity, where my fist will be inserted with all my might and furious anger, thrusting away until the two unite into a mythological Cenaur-like beast. Half fist. Half anus.

(What are you looking at?)

I bloody love big nights of midweek football with full PL and Championship programmes, such a great break in the week and a nice change from cup football.

Pretty gutted they couldn't hang to Jol for one more game, as they will have the new manager/playing for their futures boost, but regardless this game shouldn't be about Fulham - as perverse as that sounds.

We have to make this game totally about us. We need to be 100% from the first minute - play like we did against United, or the first half against Everton, and keep that level of intensity up as long as possible. Overwhelm them with attacks, commitment, power and desire to win. Badger and harass the fuck out of them all over the pitch - it's the smallest ground in the league and is perfect for pressing football.

Move the ball quickly, move it forwards whenever possible, get balls in to Soldado in any way we can think of - low crosses, high crosses, through-balls, one-twos. Try and deflect it in off his fucking face if we have to.

Do those things and I think we'll win by a couple - which quite frankly is absolutely vital for us and for AVB.

I'd play the same team as started Sunday as well, but Lamela would be on my bench to bring on at the first opportunity. I'd rather start him, but I wouldn't play him on the left and Lennon deserves to keep his place after Sunday.

dont think he'd be happy on our bench getting the odd cup game

Bet he would be happier than current scenario. He is going to end up back Germany in the summer anyway so will just be keen to keep his profile up.

OK so no Ade, Eriksen, Rose or Kane

Lloris
Walker Kaboul Chiriches Vertonghen
Paulinho Sandro Dembele
Lennon Soldado Townsend

Subs: Friedel, Dawson, Capoue, Holtby, Sigurdson, Lamela, Defoe (Reserve: Naughton, Chadli)

As mentioned this one's a strange game. Win and we are closing on the top teams again and things look optimistic but lose and Levy might lose patience and AVB could be gawn. I'm not quite sure where a draw leaves us.

Anyhow if we did lose I can't see DL taking any action until after Sunderland at the earliest.

I started a hybrid 451 / 4231 on fifa 14 last night with almost that same team save for Rose left back, Dawson for Vlad (accidental) and lamela on the left instead of Townsend.
Halfway through, as I suspected, it wasn't working, Soldado hadn't touched the ball and it was 0-0
I swapped it to 433 pushing Lennon and lamela alongside Soldado and had easy more chances.
It finished 0-0 because I'm not brilliant at the game but it was way better.

So by the power of fifa, Andre needs to go 433.

I'd say a draw leaves the Sunderland game as a definite must win game, as that would be 5 without a win - unless Levy is prepared to stick with AVB for the rest of the season no matter what.

Depends on the nature of the performances though for me.
