Anyone been following this year?

I expect Mayo and Dublin to come through this weekend for the final and then I suppose you have to fancy the dubs to win.

Probably clutching at straws but I'm hoping that Mayo might have a decent chance as they haven't had their usual procession to the semis and have had a few, hard, physical games (Tyrone especially-what a match that was) to get here, which may benefit them.

The wife's parents are Mayo and Tipp so my little girl has both jerseys and a final spot guaranteed. With Tipp doing well in the hurling too it's quite the year!

Good luck Tipp

My dad was born in Clonmel as was his dad while my nan was from Mayo so I tend to support those two teams but Tipperary over Mayo

Looking forward to the final this weekend (at least something sporty to get behind with no Spurs match)

I was born in Waterford City, Airmount Hospital but my family are all New Ross, Wexford.

However my wife and kids are just over the Wexford border in The Rower, Co Kilkenny so I don't know where my loyalty lies.

I'll be back in KK in about two weeks time and no doubt the flags will be fluttering whatever the score today.

When I was watching the Spurs Liverpool game in an Irish bar in vegas...

I got to speaking to the owner

He, like my father, was born in Clonmel but he was raised in KilKenny so also had split loyalties (although he sides with kilkenny unfortunately)

I was bantering with him about this game so I hope he's enjoying it in the Ri Ra pub

He's also a long term Leicester city fan so it was fun to stay on after we beat palace and support them against arsenal together (even if my wife had had enough of being in a pub since 7am and wanted to get to the mgm pool)

That goal should be enough for Tipp you'd think.

As I was writing that Kilkenny scored a goal back so as you were!!
