The original source looks to be from Bleacher Report, so not exactly trustworthy unfortunately. Looks like West Ham might be genuinely interested, and they've just thrown half a dozen Premier League teams in there, including us, that are also "interested" for the sake of clicks. Not sure there's a lot in it.

Stats are largely underwhelming, and he only managed to make 1 start and 9 sub appearances for a bang average Inter last year. Must be something special about him as they coughed up over £20M, but very weird they didn't try too hard to make that investment work. Loan doesn't seem to be our game either...

He's barely played since being eligible to play for them and I think they regret the purchase. They only bought him because they couldn't get Gabriel Jesus.

I've no doubt his agent is trying to get him out of there, no Idea if he can adapt to this league though.

• Has played at least one rabona
• Tendency to take too many touches
• Fancies a nice pair of gloves

Based on this information I feel Gabigol could slot in for Lamela while his recovery continues.

Watched a couple highlight vids, which I know is no way to judge a player, but where were the highlights? Seems to fit the mold of talented brazilian with little end product and more concerned about his appearance and his flare than his productivity on the pitch. Could be wrong, but a Willian/Coutinho he is not.

Its been mentioned n a few italian papers, but more as a side note. He fits the bill though.

He is an excellent prospect who moved way too early from Brazil. I just don't see him being a player who could force his way into our team. Needs to go somewhere where he'll be treated as the main man to build up his confidence and get some serious game time as he won't get that with us.
